The French asset manager launched corporate bond and high-yield funds, both targeting early-stage outliers in ESG with the potential for growth. The funds are a part of Amundi’s ESG Improvers line.
The corporate bond, Amundi Funds Global Corporate ESG Improvers Bond, is benchmarked against the ICE Bank of America Global Large Cap Corporate Index, while the high-yield fund, Amundi Funds Pioneer Global High Yield ESG Improvers Bond, looks to outperform the ICE Bank of America Global High Yield Index.
Amundi launched the ESG Improvers line earlier this year with two equity funds, one each for Europe and the United States.
Vincent Mortier, deputy CIO at Amundi, said: “With the addition of the global corporate bond and global high-yield strategies, investors can further benefit from this innovative strategy in fixed income, which has already been successfully applied to the equity asset class.”
