Testa replaces Raffaele Jerusalmi, who ran the exchange for 12 years. Testa will take the reins at Borsa Italiana effective 28 November 2021. His focus will be further integrating Borsa Italiana with Euronext Europe, developing the exchange’s Italian business, and helming its fixed income efforts.
Testa comes to the exchange from MTS Markets, where he spent 22 years as chief executive.
Stephane Boujnah, chief executive and chairman of the managing board of Euronext, says: I would like to thank Raffaele Jerusalmi for his significant contribution to the development of the Borsa Italiana Group and for his commitment to the integration of the Borsa Italiana Group within Euronext since the completion of the transaction in April 2021. Under Fabrizio Testa’s leadership, we will continue to focus on delivering the best services to our clients and to grow the business of the new combined Group in Italy and all over Europe.”
