VanEck is transitioning to ESG indices for three multi-asset ETFs. VanEck attributes the changes to the mounting demand from investors for ESG ETFs. The multi-asset ETFs in question are the the VanEck Multi Asset Conservative Allocation UCITS ETF (DTM), the VanEck Multi Asset Balanced Allocation UCITS ETF (NTM) and the VanEck Multi Asset Growth Allocation UCITS ETF (TOF).  

VanEck is transitioning to ESG indices for three multi-asset ETFs. VanEck attributes the changes to strong demand from investors for ESG ETFs.  

The multi-asset ETFs in question are the the VanEck Multi Asset Conservative Allocation UCITS ETF (DTM), the VanEck Multi Asset Balanced Allocation UCITS ETF (NTM) and the VanEck Multi Asset Growth Allocation UCITS ETF (TOF).  Two of the four indices tracked by these ETs will be changed. The Solactive Sustainable World Equity index will replace the Solactive Global Equity index while Boxx SD-KPI EUR Liquid Corporates index will replace the Markit iBoxx EUR Liquid Corporates index.  

Martijn Rozemuller, CEO of VanEck Europe: “We expect demand for index funds that incorporate ESG criteria to increase significantly in the future while demand for funds that do not incorporate ESG considerations will decrease. We therefore want to present our customers with a well-designed range of ETFs with a sustainable focus.”
